with over 15 years of experience working across the NHS and private sectors. During my extensive NHS career, I worked in a variety of clinical settings, including primary care, secondary care (both inpatient and outpatient), supported living, and Talking Therapies services. These roles allowed me to support clients with diverse presentations and varying levels of severity, providing me with a deep understanding of mental health challenges and therapeutic approaches.
I have worked with clients managing learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders (post-traumatic stress disorder - PTSD, body dysmorphic disorder - BDD, social anxiety, panic, specific phobias, generalised anxiety disorder - GAD, obsessive-compulsive disorder - OCD, health anxiety, skin picking, and hair pulling), depression, and low self-esteem.
My therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. I strive to create a safe, non-judgemental space where clients feel understood and supported. I am proud of achieving excellent recovery rates and receiving positive feedback from clients who appreciate the value I bring to their lives. I strongly believe in empowering clients to build resilience, improve their coping skills, and take charge of their well-being.
Therapy is a highly personal journey - some clients seek support for difficult emotions, others aim to repair relationships, and some use therapy as a space for reflection and self-discovery. Through our work together, clients can feel more confident, in control, and aligned with their personal goals. My approach emphasises authenticity, friendliness, and a grounded connection, ensuring the process feels collaborative and meaningful.
